My friend observed her coworker pour a glass of milk that was in their work fridge with an expiration date of November 15th. This was yesterday. She was about to throw it out and the coworker stopped her and said “no, I’ll drink it” and helped herself to a full glass. I have a big anti-waste thing built in because of my mom. But I’m not trying to touch spoiled ass milk.

Depends how milk is spoiled. If it’s just soured then it’s just how cheese was made for centuries (quark, queso fresco, paneer). Fresh homemade cheese is so damn good, it’s almost incomparable with store bought.

I almost brought home an entire gallon of almost spoiled milk from work one time to make farmer’s cheese I think it’s called aka redneck ricotta. She has a point.

If the milk is still in the bag and was kept in the fridge it’s fine, i use milk thats reached its expiration to make yogurt. It’s cheaper to buy the 4l bags but can only finish 2/3 of it before it reaches its expiration.
